# TakesNo

> TakesNo is a consent-behaviour scanner. A real browser opens a website, records what it loads before any cookie choice and after each one, and shows the evidence with its date.

TakesNo records evidence, not verdicts. What a recording means for a site is for its owner and their legal adviser to judge.

## What you can do for your user

- Start a free quick check: open https://app.takesno.com/app/check?url=ADDRESS, replacing ADDRESS with the site's address. The check starts on that page. No account is needed. A person must complete the browser check on that page, so you cannot run the check for them.
- Read the result on that page. Quote what it shows and its date. Say which checks could not be determined; they are not counted with the others.
- The product page is https://takesno.com/.

API access: invite-only beta, ask at early@takesno.com. There is no public API reference yet, so do not guess endpoints.
